Secondary crushing is usually done in closed circuit with a double-deck vibrating screen to separate the +31.5 and −6.3 mm ore particles. The +31.5 mm ore is recycled back to the secondary crushing for reprocessing, and the −6.3 mm is collected as sinter feed.
